After looking at the tornado damaged photos, video on the morning news..Im so pleased that I spoke up last year to the city council about the total lack of a Tornado Warning System, here in Savannah..To their credit, they took that statement forward,and implemented a brand new Tornado Warning System. In case you havent seen them or heard of them, one is located right at Minni Cline Elementary School, the other is on the east side of town on First Baptist Church property..The warning system should cover the entire town now.I hope we never have to sound the alarm due to a pending tornado heading toward our beautiful town.. However, we witness yesterday, how that storm that spewed the tornado which struck and damaged a number of homes in Amity, Missouri...It pass right by Savannah.
