After losing its identity in the 16th century, Kalinga was reunited on this day in 1936 by the struggling efforts of our founding fathers Madhu Babu, Gopabandhu, Fakir Mohan Senapati, Nilakantha Das, Maharaja Krushnachandra Gajapati, Nabakrushna Choudhury, Gangadhar Meher, Radhanath Ray, Laxmikanta Mohapatra et al. Never ever forget their sacrifices who lived and died for the sake of our motherland. The best way we can remember our forefathers is not through inanimate things, but by fulfilling their dreams. Were still standing and fighting even after the great famine and the super cyclones. A very happy Utkala diwas for all Odias all over India and abroad. Lets never forget our roots. Stay culturally strong. Respect our mother tongue. They are the givers of real happiness. This mother will produce many many many more greats. BANDE UTKALA JANANI.
