After many, many months of just, well...craptastically gutwrenching spirit-breaking wtf-are-you-kidding-me-? type news and events, so very many, many life-affirming, jaw-dropping, ah-mazing, wtf-are-you-kidding-me-? type things are happening now. More on that later... At the moment, I just want to say that I do not believe in omnipotent god-figures that look like Charleton Heston or Max VonSydow in The Greatest Story Ever Told or that they are testing our faith and resolve by alternately exerting and withholding their will/love/grace, but I do believe in Good (with a capital G). I also believe in Balance (with a capital B) even as I believe and know that Life is not fair. I personally call this The Great Pendulum and its shifting to create that Balance is mysterious and complicated and frightening and wonderful, but I dont take it personally--or, at least, I try not to. :) Because of these beliefs, I have but one prayer and it is simply Thank You, which I offer to the ether several times a day, but *especially* when my eyes open in the morning regardless of the circumstances I will face in the coming day because that day is *coming* and that means I, at least, have some sort of fighting chance and that the possibility of Good (or as many people believe and call it: G-d) is there for me to experience. Finally, I just want to say Thank You to the many Earth Angels and Guardian Angels (yes, I believe in Angels!) who have been an integral part in getting me to this exact moment in my Life. My Gratitude is boundless...
