After many months of thinking and weighing my options, as much as I hate it, I am going to have to sell off my entire rabbitry. I have been wracking my brain, trying to find a way around this, but for many reasons (no employment in my area, family moving south (FL), etc.), this is what I must do. So, I have for sale the following….IF anyone knows of anyone who is just entering the world of angoras, this would be an awesome opportunity for them to start off with some of the best French Angora stock available (Spang and Higher Ground Farms (Eric Stewart’s line). I am also selling all of my equipment/cages/carriers as well, but will list all that stuff in a separate post because this is already going to be SO long. Because selling my rabbits is incredibly painful for me, I would really like to sell them all together (so I only have to do this once), and will give a very good deal on the whole herd. I am located in North Carolina, in the mountains in the far western part of the state (zip code is 28734). Here is a listing of the rabbits I have for sale. All are French Angoras, fully pedigreed and some are GC’ed or registered, most have at least 1 leg): Spang’s Esperanza- Grand Championed w/RWB registration tort doe-proven breeder-2 years old-very dense coat with wonderful texture. Esperanza grows a rather long coat as well. She is very affectionate, gentle and a very good mother. She is also a big girl;) Spang’s Clementina- 1 year old Tort- proven breeder-equal in density and texture to Esperanza. She has proven herself to be a good mom and is gentle and sweet. Spang’s Eva- REW- Registered w/RWB seal- one leg-1 year old- proven breeder- good Mom and SUPER sweet;) Eva likes to rub like a cat;) Very good density and texture. All of these does are fantasticJ Spang’s Giacomo- Grand Champion Tort buck- 11 legs. Giacomo is 5 years old, so his meat condition isn’t what it used to be, but he is still a super valuable breederJ And he is sweet, gentle and cleanJ Spang’s Ryder- Tort buck- 1 leg- DOB 5/11/12. Ryder has a wonderfully solid body with great meat condition. I like his wool better than Giacomo’s, but he is not as sedate as GiacomoJ He’s a funny boy, likes to pounce while he’s in his cage, but is sweet and affectionate when I’m working with him. His body is GREATJ HGF Captain Crunch- This is a chestnut buck that I bought from Eric Stewart for $100 just last month. He is 5 months old and as sweet as the day is longJ He still acts like a baby…comes to the door of his cage and lets me kiss all over his nose/muzzle, licks my face, etc;) He is a NICE little boy and show great promise. As I just got him, I haven’t had him to a show yet. Mg’s ???- This is a REW buck who is just along for the ride;) Seriously…he was born here a year ago, but I don’t like his shoulders (low). But, he is part of the package. ALSO….the three does all have litters that were born August 3-4 2013. There are a total of 8 babies, 2 of which are spoken for. All of the babies that are still here when the herd is spoken for will be included in the package. All are fully pedigreed and Spang’s Giacomo is the sire of all three littersJ I will sell all of these rabbits together for $300. Please email me for more information or individual prices.
