After meeting all the racists and fascists over at Mi Mapa de - TopicsExpress

After meeting all the racists and fascists over at Mi Mapa de Venezuela incluye nuestro Esequibo and reading some of their were going to kill all Guyanese and you black pieces of shit comments posted to our page we started thinking about racism a lot more. What makes people racist? What is it that causes some to suffer and some not to see? Will those of us who dream ever live to see the day mankind unites to break these chains? It may seem weve only just started the race thread in the past few days but those of you whove been following along for the past couple months know it started with the fantastic documentary we posted on Shadesim. Were going around the world to see what we can learn from different cultures that may help shed new light on our own country. Ever want proof of mans insanity? Talk to a racist. Right here at home it saddens us to note we practice the worst forms of Shadeism and Racism against each other but then turn around and find our friends across the border hate us all the same; only the black and the brown try to distinguish amongst themselves. Whos fairer than who and whos darker than who? What colour people dont date and what hue we prefer to screw. Whos got good hair, who and who ain born really fair, an endless need to compare yet when we leave here and arrive on foreign shores Guyanese face their own dilemmas and both the main racial groups of this nation find themselves stereotyped abroad where black people are assumed to be criminals and anyone asian or muslim looking are deemed terrorists. Nobody really cares that youre from Guyana, youve already been put into a box. How stupid it then looks that we spend our time at home fighting each other instead of finding ways to free the minds of our brothers and sisters from the ever present shackles of colonialism. Even Freddie Kissoon, a man we deeply admire, seems to struggle quite publicly with his own self-loathing as an Indian man. It seems he feels another race is superior; we feel NO race is superior and so should you for ultimately there is only one race and thats the human race. Heres another very honest discussion about race, from the other side of the coin. In this video the discourse centers around the privileges afforded to one who happens to be in a dominant ethnic group and how easy/hard that makes it to see things from the other side. Mi Mapa amigos, your strategy seems very poor. Were currently reading through the Guyana/Venezuela boundary dispute document and youd be surprised how widely they gather information. Were dutifully taking screenshots of all the racist filth you guys send our way because should you ever make it into power, at this rate it looks as if youll be planning a Genocide. Youre forgetting that Venezuela agreed to the current boundaries then changed her mind decades later. This is where the difference in views has arisen; Guyanese feel this issue has long been settled whilst you feel its still going on. Fine, but keep your racism in check and educate your fans about their own humanity and the importance of respect, for self and for others. There is more than enough space on the internet for all to agree or disagree with each other in a proper manner. We understood Venezuela, like Guyana to be a multi-ethnic, diverse society so its even more troubling that youre so openly racist, just when we were thinking no one was as bad as Guyanese. Here its a bit more subtle and on your end things seem to be a bit more explicit but heres what, we can all benefit from taking a look at this video and some of the others posted yesterday. Change the world with love, dont destroy it with hate.
