After much prayer and consideration, and talking with my wife...Ive come to the decision to pursue my calling in youth ministry. A lot of people might ask how I know God is calling me to be a youth pastor. Well, I truly believe that God speaks to us through His Word as well as through our circumstances. God will never lead us against what the Bible says. Psalm 119:105 says, Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light unto my path. For those of you who are close to me, youd know that God has given me a heart for our young people. I feel as though He allows us to have these burdens so that we can give it right back to Him. Just as God is faithful to us, He wants us to be faithful to His call. Give your burdens to the Lord and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall - Psalm 55:22 After having had the experience of directing a youth program a couple years ago, I have prayed that God would grant me another opportunity to do so again. And like I said before, I believe God also speaks to us through our circumstances. This is where we ask God for confirmation. And without even applying for this position anywhere, God has given me several opportunities to step back into full-time ministry!! Thank you Jesus!!!! I want to thank ALL of you who have taken the time to encourage me and support me through this discerning process!! I am excited to be used by God and pray that He will continue to lead me through whichever door he walks me through. Please continue to pray with me and for me as I seek Gods will. Thank you!!! :)
