After much thought and consideration over the past few weeks, I have decided that it is time for me to part ways with Dishonour The Crown. I feel there are other things in my life that require more attention and other musical projects and styles I would like to experiment with. For me, I feel the band has lost the essence of what Ron and myself started 2 years ago. My views and outlooks on life have changed a lot and I also feel its unfair on the other lads to continue with something my heart just isnt in anymore. Its been one hell of a ride and for something which effectively started as a bedroom project, We achieved more than I ever expected us too. Massive love and respect to everyone who has been involved in this band and the awesome bands and people I have met along the way. This is by no means the end of me as a musician! As Ive always said its my blessing and my curse, haha and Ill be back trying new things and pushing myself further as a vocalist very soon, I just feel Ive achieved all I can with this band and its time to find fresh pastures(cant actually believe I used that one!) Anyways, massive love to all my boys Alex, Josh, Lew and Bill, love you all to bits and of course to Ron, Ben and James, been an absolute pleasure playing and hanging out and I leave with some really good friends and memories. It just leaves me to say thank you to everyone who downloaded an ep, bought a t-shirt, went absolutely bat shit at our shows, all the DECENT promoters and DTC fans, I love you all and keep an eye out, this old dog still has a few tricks left up his sleeve;) watch out!
