After much thought and discussions with my kids and with Meg, as well as the many people who have contacted me, I have decided to make a run for Mayor of the City of Logan. It was a difficult decision based on Megs medical condition, but in the end, I decided and vowed that the campaign will in no way take away from my time with her. My goal in running is to help to bring the City back to its grandiosity from my childhood. I want it to be an inviting place for new businesses and the people willing to come to town to support them. My focus would be on cleaning up the area and making it a business and people friendly destination. I hope to generate the support to do just that. Anyone who knows me, knows I am an out of the box type of person. Some would call me just plain crazy. LOL. But having lived for 17 years in a City (Hilliard, Ohio) that overcame similar downtown realities such as ours, I witnessed a complete transformation in that City. I want to use some of the same methods used by Hilliard to turn the City toward a new direction. I love Logan and have always considered it home. I would appreciate everyones support!
