After my Foundation (Fabulous McGrady and Friends Foundation) delivered the 255 pounds of donated cat food to Scotland County Humane Society this past Saturday, we went over to Tractor Supply and purchased the kitten and puppy food that Anson County Animal Shelter noted that they very much needed. This purchase, in addition to the other half of the donated cat food that was already going to ACAS, resulted in a total of 419.5 pounds of pet food donated to ACAS on Saturday.....thats a grand total of 674.5 pounds of pet food total delivered by FMFF on Saturday. In addition to that, we had 48 bags of donated bags of dog treats that went to both groups: SCHS will use for their foster dogs and ACAS will include them as part of a goodie bag for adopters of shelter dogs. We are also ordering collars and leashes to drop-ship to ACAS to be included in the goodie bags as well. PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE both these organizations pages! Although my Social Media Assistant is sometimes slow to write about what FMFF does, we actually made our first trip out to ACAS in March 2014 then again in May 2014.
