After my beloved Sisters closed, thus ending both the Sisters Sirens and Burlesque Showcase at Sisters, I was feeling very crestfallen as a performer. I had a few really cool go-go gigs and some of the queens of the burlyq scene offered great opportunities at a show here or there, but I was starting to to think it was time to pack in my fishnets. But thanks to Josh Schonewolfs RIDICULOUS idea that I enter MISS Everything, I got a 10-week boot camp surrounded by inspirational artists and the most supportive community imaginable. It clarified that performance is not just a hobby or a job but its what pumps blood through my veins. I cant begin to thank all of you who give me these chances, who show up and show love, who make it possible to feel this happy. Paying you back is impossible, but maybe somehow I can pay it forward.
