After my doctors appointment today I said, well its time to go get yelled at. My mother had been EXTREMELY angry at me. However, when I saw her (and I had stayed away for quite awhile) she was nice. We had a nice, but interesting visit. A few minutes into the conversation, she said Mike, I sure would like to know how my child that I had is doing. During the visit I was Mike, President Obama, my cousin, married with two children, I told her that my wifes name was Michelle, that my child must be angry, how is he doing? how many children do you have? that I want an apartment of my own (and not aggressively)(sort of in a sad way), that she was happy that her dog was with her (its a teddy bear)....and so forth, she let me give her a goodbye hug, and she looked vulnerable as I left. Note: Im just giving an update for those who have followed my postings on this issue. Im okay. Theres no need to say Im sorry.....its just part of life...Im okay---and Ive accepted. At least I turned out okay---Im the president :-)
