After my group meeting this morning I ran into two tragedies. First of all a woman I do not know has lost her daughter who apparently fell asleep behind the wheel on Friday night and did not survive the accident. Secondly a young lady who is always smiling and serves me often at a local business. Her brother has been shot and is in a critical condition in a local government hospital. Both these ladies had no inkling of the tragedies that would hit them this weekend. I do not know the spiritual condition of these two young people that are dead or critically injured. I will attempt to assist as best I can. The obvious questions I hope challenges us all are; 1. Where do you stand in your relationship with God? 2. What have you done this past week to lovingly share the gospel with those around you, to be Christ in this world and to the world? 3. How many opportunities did you disregard to reach a person with the gospel that may dead or dying today or tomorrow? 4. How available are you to support and love those in crisis?
