After one of the worse nights of pain that I have had it was uplifting to read all the sweet comments everyone wrote on my wall yesterday about my lyme disease. I have been treated with two weeks of antibiotics which is the CDC protocol. But I still had all the symptoms of lyme and they were getting worse. Sent off blood work and it came back acute lyme. I got bite in June. My doctor called again yesterday saying she is having a hard time finding a doctor that wants to treat beyond the CDC protocol. I may have to travel out of state for treatment. I am learning a lot about our health care system and lyme.
