After our recent dog experiences, Madi has had a change of heart. Rewind almost 2 years. I had made a promise before my job change that when they could be with me, that we would talk about other pets. I am now in a position I have to make good on my ill-thought out agreement. Sarah has chosen Olaf, a guinea pig. Despite the smelly cage, he is kinda neat, and likes to be held, except for his penchant for leaving fluid or solid deposits on his holder. Now back to Madi. She misses Keira, the foster/stray that we had and now instead of a rabbit, we are headed to the humane society to interview dogs. I think it is a good trade, since I am already dog-friendly, and assuming mine train him/her well. At least there wont be trips outside in the dead of winter to feed and such, right?
