After owning Chevy Trucks (1500, 2500HD & Suburban Z71) for the past 15 years, I finally got my childhood dream car....3rd Gen Camaro. I bought a 91 RS 3 months ago w/ only 70,000 original miles. Shes a beauty. I have several questions but I will start with....a question about the t-tops. It came with a new set and the original set. There are brand new seals on both sides. The new tops leak TERRIBLE (like I had 4 inch of water in the back floor board the second week I had her. I was livid!!) I have put the old tops on to see if there was a difference. YES. Not a drop of leakage with old tops, even with yesterdays hurricane. Why do my new tops leak? Id prefer the new one b/c they are lighter and dont make the car quite so hot in the inside. The old ones certainly have a lot of wear on them and are heavy not to mention the heat on the inside. Ideas? Camaro.
