After reading Emersons The Oversoul and feeling so good about the Divine this morning, I guess I just had to be reminded of those that live on the dark side. Strange thing, as sick as this makes me feel, I feel sorry for this hate filled lost soul. I am encouraged by the behavior of all the other passengers who stood up to this guy (except for all the laughter coming from the guy who filmed this incident). As for the man and target of all this hatred, it takes a BIG MAN to behave the way he did. Im sure I could not have taken all that in silence. I guess I could have kept silent and just spit on the dude doing all the ranting, but I know I would have lost my job. Im certain the BIG MAN did not feel it was worth losing his job by losing his dignity. Sometimes silence is the best reply. Sigh, what a crazy thing to witness.
