After reading all the tributes for Robin Williams on my news feed, I have to say some of the tributes really bothered me!!! As a psych major reading how some people are saying; they had bad times, everyone has bad times in their life but they would not consider suicide. Thats great you likely didnt suffer a clinical depression. If you werent clinically depressed at the time you probably didnt become suicidal or have suicidal thoughts, so you dont have a proper view of the clinically depressed mind. Some of the responses people were saying are the worst things ever you can say to a depressed person. Take a moment to look at this link & see if you find yourself saying things like this about a depressed person.
