After reading the weekly small town papers last night I headed out this morning for a garage sale a few miles away in the old truck with 225,000 miles on it. I was enjoying the view of hay fields and woods when I saw the balloon marked drive way, the old truck lurched into the dirt driveway with its low-front tire, branches from an over grown willow tree dragged across the top, I saw the old barn that needed paint 50 years ago, a good sign, an old tractor stood proudly for sale un restored. I was the first and only there and it looked like grandma saved her things and the kids were selling it cheap. Only a few things were marked but at the low prices I took some chances, also some have a small chip but not all. The Minnesota Stoneware jar with lid is the prize so far as I start to research the others. I left a lot of nice things there. $26 spent.
