After receiving no call back yesterday I called again today. Apparently they are sending me a letter informing me that my injury has been deemed not work related and I have to seek my own PCP appointment and referral to physical therapy. After being told last evening that they would call me right back, they send me a letter. How long would that have taken? First let me say that Im not upset at this determination. What kills me inside is that it has taken them 3 days to come to this that I could have been working on the problem. I foolishly thought that I would just get sent to PT but on my insurance with a copay. Now Im starting all over again with nothing to tell my boss and hanging out in the breeze because they dont see me now that it isnt work related so how the heck to I get better and cleared to go back to work? I want to get my ankle strong so that I can work and so that this doesnt happen again.
