After reserving my reservation, I began to wait for my train to heaven While waiting, I met the sweet heart of my life Not knowing I began to fall into the sweet pain of love And her pretty eyes could hurt at times But, We learned each others ways Throughout the ups And downs of these days While waiting for the train to heaven, God gave us life My sweet heart became my wife And the mother to my children The sweet pain identified as love Found a home within our hearts She a root to mine and I to hers Our family tree began to sprout While waiting for our trains to heaven No one ever said the wait would be easy We endured seasons of cold winters and beautiful springs We saw our loved ones board their trains Waving good bye as we watched life disappear into the horizon While memories began to fill up the memory banks The reside against the rivers of our lives The hot sun didn’t seem to age As we both saw our youthful beauty fade While waiting for our trains to heaven On a early Sunday morning Myself and my beautiful family tree gathered down at the train tracks Crying, laughing and hugging for one last time The beautiful sweet heart of my life It was boarding time Her reservation had finally came She kissed me one last time and said she was so happy to wait with me I waved and watch her life disappear into the horizon And I was left waiting for my train to heaven.
