After seeing A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay about the Death of Walt Disney at The Soho Rep last year, this film about the making of Mary Poppins, with a very likable Tom Hanks as Walt, was yet another perspective into the workings of Disney. I especially enjoyed scenes of the Sherman brothers working out such gems as Lets Go Fly A Kite, and I lost it at Feed the Birds, my childhood favorite. A different kind of Disney movie; it got me psyched for our upcoming trip to the happiest place on Earth.
