After seeing American Sniper I am actually pretty angry. I never knew nor heard of Chief Chris Kyle because when I got out I didnt make it a point to keep up with the men and women who continued to serve. But from the film and his story he seemed like a great man who like almost all veterans of foreign war had a lot of issues adjusting back to civilian life. I am not angry of how they depicted the life of veterans. I am angry that a brother in arms took his life when he was only reaching out to help him adjust. That is disgusting. I cant imagine how his loved ones felt but I will admit I cried after seeing the film and reading more about his story. I am disturbed that someone could be so broken that they took a husband, brother, son, father, etc. from the people he fought so hard to return to. It baffles me to no end. If you are a veteran and you ever need an ear to speak to or a shoulder to cry on do not hesitate.
