After seeing and hearing all the negative hype this music video has gotten I just want to say a few things: Shia LaBeouf is hands down one of my favorite performers and has been ever since I was a kid. To see him participate in an effort like this where he is out of his element, exploring movement and the art of dance is so pleasing to me. He is a master of expression and seamlessly goes from curiosity to fear, anger to sadness, hope to despair, and back again. To those of you who see this as 28 year old abusing a 12 year old, you are looking through the wrong lense. What a perfect example of raw and instinctual talent. I cant wait for Sia to release the making of for this clip. Alright, Ill jump off my soap box now.
