After singing Killing me Softly in the shower for half an hour, I - TopicsExpress

After singing Killing me Softly in the shower for half an hour, I have finally mustered up the courage to write a closing thank you, to the friends I have shared a life-changing experience with over the past month. We all give our own meanings to life. Some live for money, some religion, others just to be loved. For me personally, life is about the unforgettable moments, the experiences that we share with the people we love, and the joy it brings to those around us. I have seen some of my closest friends from different countries, become best friends themselves. I cant explain that honour. There is no price you can put on a relationship, and thats one of the reasons I am so thankful for what weve been through over the last 27 days. Now, none of this would have come to fruition without working towards a greater collective goal. Each and every one of us on this trip made a sacrifice, whether it be financially, mentally, or in all of our cases, physically. (Good ol American food!). Trying to keep my companies running with limited internet, or sleep, was a challenge in itself. Cruising from LA to Arizona, Vegas to Cabo, Cancun to Miami, or through the Bahamas on a cruise ship. Wherever we stepped foot we opened up a new world to the people we met, as they did for us. If I had a dollar for every smile, I could just about pay off my loss from Vegas! There are memories I will cherish forever. These are the stories I will tell my children. So without getting any more emotional, Im going to close with THANK YOU. For the rest of Facebook, Id like to encourage all of you to gather some friends and start planning to travel. I guarantee youll learn a lot about yourself, the world, and there is nothing more important than improving one another. Its so humbling to see how others live, and to put your own life in perspective. If youre one of those people that sit at home and comment Youre so lucky - then let this be a lesson: The harder you work, the luckier you get. #Bendercation 2014, until next time. X
