After sitting on the side of the road on the curve on Minnesota - TopicsExpress

After sitting on the side of the road on the curve on Minnesota Drive, heading to Huffman Post Office, because the big blue van had died, I took the time to think of my options in this world, time, and place. Should I: Call for help; start walking home for the other car; or be ingenious and figure it out right there and then. Well, you know that I am capable of many skills, and car mechanics and diagnostics are certainly part of my repertoire. After a few minutes of sitting there, I chose to NOT open the hood and look in the engine compartment, because as Lisas dad said, no-one has ever got an engine to start by just looking at it, and, it always seems as if youre looking to see if the engine is still there!!! (wise words if ever I have heard them) I then turned the key, thinking that this is a fuel delivery problem from my rusty gas tank and the fact that the truck has been sinking into our driveway for the past few years, (Okay. QUITE a few!!!) and it started easily. Hmmm.... I wondered aloud, shrugged my shoulders and gently, and slowly, guided it onto the expressway towards a Tesoro station and the Post Office. Gasoline, oil, and some good fuel additives later, I was more certainly under way, and although there was no crisis, makes me grateful for so many things about this life. 1. Everything is a struggle. 2. Everyone is different. 3. Everywhere is a journey. Mine is my own to enjoy...One day at a time. Love to all, Aunt Daph.
