After some complaints about the signage and traffic management at the Newshot Drive roadworks, Jim Wright, Operations Manager has contacted Cllr Sam Mullin today with this response: “The road closure has been checked this morning and signage is present ( nearly 100 signs), given direction and extent of work. There is also signage present informing road users that Mainshill is open for local traffic and there are other signs informing users of other local access. There was also signage out a week in advance advising of the resurfacing work. There will always be some issues regarding local access to specific addresses as local access can only be given to the point of the actual resurfacing work itself so there may be some inconvenience at that point.”
