After spending a lot of time focusing on improving my shoulder mobility, its fair to say I had been neglecting my hips. After spending the last 2 weeks aggressively focusing on restoring my hip mobility the results have been fantastic. I am now sitting much more upright at the bottom of my squats and can hold a fairly good position in a deficit snatch deadlift. Video shows me working on paused front squats and a 150kg snatch deficit deadlift from last night and this morning! Improving your mechanics enables you to effectively utilise your strength and hold good positions in your lifts! Still got a bit of work to do, but looking forward to seeing how I progress with my strength in the big lifts over the next phase of training!
