After spending almost 14 years in the LTL industry, 13 of which were as a driver. I finally got a chance to do something Ive been interested in for a long time. I started working at USF Holland on Monday as a operations (dock) supervisor in training. Ive got about 12 weeks to prove I can learn and handle the position. I really believe I can do this, and its a great opportunity for not only me, but my family. My first 3 days were split between orientation and filling in for a supervisor that was off, even though I was only on my own on the dock for 6 hours Ive been told I did great. Tomorrow Im going in for the full shift, wish me luck!
