After spending several months in boarding, WRS was so excited when we were able to move Kayla to a foster home a few weeks ago. However, once Kayla was in a home environment, it quickly became very evident that Kayla had never experienced a loving family environment before. She cowered in fear at every loud noise, she flinched when someone reached out to pet her, she had no idea how to interact with people or how to play with other dogs. It was heartbreaking to think about what this young little lady had previously endured. BUT, thanks to her foster family, Kayla is now growing more confident and comfortable every single day. She is very loving and affectionate and is learning more and more each day what it means to be a loved family member. Kayla has already come so far and we are so proud of her and grateful to her foster family! WRS can only continue to rescue and rehabilitate Weimaraners like Kayla with your financial support.
