After spending time at the scene of a motor cycle accident today with a husband and wife who got knocked off their bike outside City Fitness I would like to please remind all of my friends who drive a car, van, truck, lorry - or any kind of motor vehicle - to please take an extra 2 seconds at junctions to check for bikes. My brother is a motor cyclist. One of my best friends in the world is a motor cyclist. It would utterly kill me to think of them in the pain that the husband and wife I was trying to help today were in. The person in the van made a simple and honest mistake - we all do. We all make mistakes and accidents happen as a result even though we dont intend them to. But if we all look out for each other on the road then things like this can sometimes be avoided. Please. Think bike. Think biker.
