After taking a look at what I remember from Spartan Ops, i see something appearing in my mind: Maybe, just maybe, the UNSC may be enemy, but I dont think so. Thats what the announced darkness of Halo 5 stands for, hes not sure who his enemies are. Humanity, or actually just Spartan Palmer ordered by ONI, tried to execute dr. Halsey. That may make Chief pissed off, but the UNSC is glad to have Chief back up, as he was the greatest achievement in human history and saved the entire human race when the Covenant had almost killed every colony exept Earth. Remember, when the Infinitys former Captain, i forgot his name, left Chief on Requiem, they fired him(FLEETCOMM didnt take it too kind of him abandoning you on Requiem|), showing they still like him. Oh, and just saved the Earth for the SECOND time by killing the Didact and his hip, who was about o compose the Human Race. I do believe Halsey hates the UNSC now. Theres confusement, thats why its supposed to be dark. Halsey has the Storm Covenant on her side with one half of the Janus Key(in search for more Forerunner Artifacts, and the UNSC has the Arbiter, the Elites (possibly the Brutes?) and their half of the Janus Key. Chief is involved in a tug of war between those two. His loyalty lies with Humanity and the UNSC. But he also trusts his mother, aka Dr. Halsey. I can see a mission where he, along with the Storm Covenant, boards the Infinity, trying to take back, and I reference from Spartan Ops, Halsey: ...the ship i built. Might that not work. they could take the other half of the Janus Key. -Monitor
