After the British left our politicians have been busy with POLITICS. Had there not been periodical election they might have just ran away with all the money/wealth of the country. Country still runs on law/code/ norms as old as 1880s ( many of them are irrelevant / redundant).Constitution has been amended time and again to suit them and electoral benefit / Muslims & Christians benefit and division of Hindu society for vote banking. The other day I told about FCI its just a routine of British legacy with Indian style corruption. Take any Dpt. Rly, SCI, AI / IA, Coal, Minerals, Most of the mega Municipalities , Healthcare, etc. Its just a colonial routine. My personal view is most of the post independence development projects have been taken up either to get vote or earn commission by politicians . 2014 is a new scenario. Let us see its FIRST five years. ( ABV did not have majority thus I consider him to dependent leader.)
