After the bone marrow biopsy, Bailey wanted to go to the mall to look at a watch he has been wanting. I told him if he didnt feel up to it we could do it next time. He said he wanted to go. He was limping through the mall with Scooby Doo slippers on because he was too sore to bend down to put on his tennis shoes; and looking like a zombie. Not to mention the slippers were given to him by Tyler, my brother. They are worn symbolically. Two grown men walked passed us and were snickering at his shoes and one had the nerve to point. I looked at my precious boy and filled with tears because I could feel his pain and sense the worry on his mind of what if this or that is wrong.. Mr. Rude Dude X2 in Pensacola, check yourself. My sweet baby boy has more courage, strength, determination, and frankly my dear sirs, he could outrun you in those Scooby-Doo slippers after having a very painful procedure due to having leukemia. People dont ever walk past someone thinking you have a clue what they deal with. You dont! It doesnt matter what the shoes look like its the walk that counts. Ruh Roh Raggy, you done made Scoobys Mamma Cry!
