After the end of a 12 hr drive we pulled up to the hotel that Jamies family chose to meet up in Colorado for the family wedding. During check in the hotel clerk let me know that we had been chosen as the Guests of the day and that our accommodations for our family had been upgraded. We all were grateful that our suite had enough beds for all six of us for no additional cost. I got to crash this afternoon and take a much needed nap. I woke up to the family all gathering together for dinner across the parking lot. We caught up, filled our bellies and swapped stories. When the kids all went swimming I grabbed my laptop and saw that I had some correspondence during the day to respond to. I decided to walk back across the parking lot to the World of Beer to write from there. I shared my taste preferences with my knowledgeable waiter and he just took me through a tour of beers brewed by monks in the Belgian Tripel style. He would say things like, Well, I would definitely want someone to try this one in their lifetime... I am a happy man tonight. I am surrounded by the people I love. I am in a gorgeous location. I dont have to drive home. And I love Belgian monks.
