After the excitement of yesterdays update we are a little sedated today. Only 4 new products for you wine/beer/spirit fans out there on facebook: Firstly, we have a new beer from locals Red Truck Beer. This time its a - seasonally appropriate - robust porter. 46 Porter is brewed in honour of the breweries very first delivery truck. The truck, lovingly named old weird Harold, can still be seen whizzing up and down the brewery creek neighborhood and the beer - is very tasty indeed... notes of bitter roast and chocolate dominate with a solid booze backbone. Victorias Phillips has a new six pack in their rotation. Coulrophobia confronts the beer lovers clown phobia head on with its terrifying packaging.. fortunately the beer isnt nearly as scary. This IRA is packed with hops and features a robust malt backing. Lastly, we have a two new unique wines: From British Columbias esteemed Okanagan Crush Pad we have Samantha a medium bodied syrah, bold fruit and complex spice flavours emerge as the wine opens up. Pairs well with roast lamb dishes. and From Portugal we have Conde de Sabugal a fortified wine made from the moscatel grape. Featuring an intense floral aroma and flavours of exotic fruits, candied orange peel and apricot. This is an excellent as either an apertif or a desert wine. Cheers!
