After the incident in Mikhails clinic where the Nosferat leaders had almost reunited, Summer ordered to heighten the security of all facilities within the Veritas Venator complex. In line with this, SOS procedures and drills were undertaken. Lately, the Regent had developed this new habit of giving Veiratas facilities a surprise visit, monitoring and evaluating everyones performance and readiness for any kind of unexpected assault. Despite the peacefulness the Venators are enjoying and salvaging at the moment, theres still this unnerving air surrounding the complex. The silence is upsetting. When Tempest has agreed to defamiliarize and coordinate with the Nosferat Queen, Summer has never been in peace again regardless of the environment. She was always against the idea of keeping vipers inside the Veritas Venator for vipers, in spite of domestication, will always remain a viper. And vipers bite. It is in their nature and will always be their nature. Completing the everyday monitoring routine of the Regent, Summer went into the old library of Veritas. After founding the new Veritas Library situated nearer the complex center, Venators rarely visit this place. Though there are still a few numbers of Venators assigned in this old library for maintenance--mostly the less fortunate Venators: the punished; the new members; and those whom have lesser chances to get into battlefields. A thick dust welcomed her, disbanding and suspending into the air as she opened the old and creaking wooden door of the olden library. Her footsteps echoed in the silence as she walked towards the interior of the infamous building. It looks old and haunted, but the structures found inside are still functional and remains unbroken. Summer spent another couple of minutes looking around and checking the place for any unusual occurrences before she took her first step towards the exit. But her plan of leaving the area was dismissed when she saw a moving shadow of someone from behind the series of bookshelves towering over her. She is not alone, and theres this sudden feeling that things wont be the same again after she leave this place.
