After these past couple weeks, I will say Im now not just upset, but furious at the way we stigmatize people with mental illness. There are millions of James Boyds in the world who dont get a second look from us on the street, let alone chance at living a happy and fulfilling life. People with mental illness are suffering by having the most vital organ in their bodies attacked, yet everyone labels them as freaks, dangerous, worthless, crazy, and I could go on. No wonder so many are homeless. We all gather together and shut every door to them and treat them as sub-human. Well, I dont know about you, but Im going to do something about it.
