After todays events in the capital of the greatest nation on Earth, Canada, I do have one thing to say. As a nation we have prided ourselves in our ability to fight and come through adversity and see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have basked in the glory of the fallen soldiers who are responsible for the sense of safety that we possess today. Unfortunately, on days like today, we are sometimes forced to reconsider the safety that we are so used to and love. I would like all citizens not only of Canada, but of the world, who have or know someone who has gone through an experience like we have today in the great city of Ottawa to keep their heads up high. Whoever or whatever is responsible for the death today of the honourable war memorial guard as well as the wounded individuals will soon be found or dealt with and brought to justice. I really want people to not feel threatened (I know, easier said than done) and go on with life because the motive of actions like this is to create fear in citizens and have them halt their lives completely but as Canadians WE WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED.
