After trying to loosen up my back for well over an hour so I could actually deadlift, I eventually gave up and decided to do rack pulls. For whatever reason when I use straps and take a breathe while Im in position, I cant get enough tightness or generate as much speed as I can breathing at the top. Im going to be doing a lot more rack pulls in the near future to build up both my upper back and lockout power.
