After two months of planning and coordinating all the little details of the medical mission project, the group of American doctors and nurses are finally on their flight to Ukraine right now! I cannot describe how humble and serving these people are. Leaving their comfortable homes and putting their jobs on hold, they are volunteering time, skill, funding everything, bringing their own equipment, insisting on working 12-14 hours daily, and spending two days in an uncomfortable war zone environment. I love to see these Christians not limiting themselves to Sunday church services but using their careers, time and talents to serve, love and impact lives of those so far away and in a completely different culture. So inspiring.
