After unseasonably warm weather over the weekend, the temperature in St. Johns-metro is expected to drop today to about 3 Celsius. Its currently 9 C, with Environment Canada forecasting a mainly cloudy day and 60 per cent chance of showers or drizzle this afternoon. The high temperatures this week are expected to be above the freezing mark, between 2 and 5 C, but nothing like the balmy weather over the weekend. The high temperature recorded by Environment Canada Sunday was 12 C.
