After wasting two of my precious days debating the manifesto of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Ive come to a conclusion that the EFF is nothing but a popcorn organization that should not be taken seriously with their wood work approach, Considering some of the things they promise would become a reality under an EFF government: All jobs will be made permanent, mine workers will receive a salary of R12 500 per month, farm workers will receive R5000 per month, manufacturing workers R6500 per month, retail worker R5000,social grants will be doubled and there will be a 50 percent salary for police offices, teachers, nurses and other public servants. The EFF manifesto calls for the nationalization of mines, banks and other strategic sectors of the economy and the expropriation of land without compensation. Well, it’s easy to make wonderful promises when you having no actual chance of ruling. How does the EFF think the money for all these free things will be generated? Nationalization does not work and in SA the proof lies with the failures of the SAA, SABC and Eskom which each year have to be bailed out by government with billions of rands. It is a fact that more revenue for government is created through taxing the companies that are run by competent private sector with knowledge and experiences. How will the every for free (EFF) afford all these minimum wages and free staff. Are they going grow money on trees or just print more money like their heroes in Zimbabwe? Won’t such an act lead to our country to hunger, starvation, misery, unemployment and eventually hyperinflation. If Zimbabwe is such a great country as they proclaim, then why are there more Zimbabweans in SA than in Zimbabwe itself? How does EFF think the country will produce food to feed an entire nation if commercial farms are simply taken? Are the subsistence farmers going to feed 55 million people? Their so-called economic plan is completely unworkable, anybody with half a brain cell can see that, yet they are feeding this utter nonsense and garbage to the gullible and desperate people. This country will fall into utter collapse, hunger, economic collapse and civil war if we vote EFF or support its unrealistic manifesto. Again the question rises, besides Nationalization of mines and land grabbing, how does EFF plan to restore the quality of our education system? How does EFF plan to improve the forever declining health care services? How does EFF plan to make SARS even more effective in collecting taxation for people to share income/wealth? How does EFF plan to ensure that there is transparency within the government? We need to know where our money is going; the government holds that tax money on behalf of the citizens. Lets not perpetrate anarchy into our beloved country.......its sad that we South Africans tend to forget easily we all know what the chief in commander and his commissionaires are capable of.SABC are the leadership of commissionaire Mpofu nearly collapsed , Commissionaire Moonsamy was the COO of the NYDA approving millions to be spent on kissing festivals, the less said about commissioner shivambu and his Chief in commander the better. The Big question is are these the People we can trust with our mineral resources and running this country ?
