After watching The Challenger Disaster movie on Science Channel I have only one conclusion like with every scandal or cover up of the truth there is one man one person who can see through the washington double talk a person not even involved with the program with nothing to lose Dr Feynman a world renowned scientist who won the nobel prize for physics in 1965 discovered that the O ring material that kept the hot gas from escaping the right solid booster failed at 32 degrees and the engineers that pleaded the night before the launch to stop it the were proven correct its a terrible tragedy 7 astronauts not to mention Christa McAuliffe teacher in space had to lose their lives in the process a lesson we had to undergo a second time with another 7 astronauts with columbias destructive loss upon orbital reentry in february 2003 hopefully space flight in the future years will be more safe with the lessons learned.
