After watching a ton of videos this evening on the ALS ice bucket challenge, I am overwhelmed with emotion. Yes we are doing this to raise money for research. But do you realize how this is bringing the country together in a common goal? Thousands of people across this country are doing this challenge. Thousands of people are communicating with each other. It may take only a few minutes, but kids are putting their computers and phones down for the time it takes to do the challenge. AND having a good time doing it. To all of you taking part in the challenge to bring awareness to ALS and to those of you who donate, I THANK YOU FROM EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY. IN HONOR OF OUR MOM WHO DIED FROM ALS
