After watching the debate with Salmond and Darling last night I wasnt surprised by Yes supporters claiming a victory for Salmond, I was pleasantly surprised that quite a few No voters felt the same way but how could they not. We learned a couple of things last night, we learned that, yes, we can use Sterling and that even if the No camps claim on oil is believed there is still enough to see ok until past 2050. What had surprised me more than No voters accepting that Salmond won the debate, is that some news papers feel it was either a draw or a win for Darling. Were these news outlets watching a different debate? I dont expect that the debate or the news papers will be enough for most No voters to change their mind but surely it after watching Darling struggle to remember why he was there, switching between Better Together and campaigning for next years election, and realising the main stream media cant see the wood for the trees, surely this is enough to make you realise that they cant be relied on for an honest opinion. Please folks on all sides, this is too important to not question everything, to not dig deep into the information that is out there. Ask questions, demand answers, cast your vote with an informed not a closed mind.
