After watching the first incarnation of Thor I thought that Hollywood had reached a new low point. It wasnt until today after watching Thor [2]: The Dark World (for some unknown reason) that I realized it is possible for Hollywood to decline ever lower. There was a time that drek like this would ruin a celebrities career not bolster it. Apparently, I am in the minority of cinema enthusiasts, seeing that Rotten Tomatoes scored this movie 65% and over 220K people scored it a 7.2/10 on IMDB. The fact that Thor 3 is currently being written, and perhaps has even started filming, is testament to the fact that the future of this country is in dire straits. We are no longer required to put in any effort towards our own enjoyment. 95% of what comes out of Hollywood these days is aimed at a demographic of viewers with IQs lower than Forrest Gump. “I fear the day technology will surpass our human interaction.
