After we left Springfield MO, we continued our journey toward Athens GA. We were still in MO farm country, and got stuck behind a farm tractor, and even HE was on a cell phone. We had to stop for fuel. Our truck has two 75 gallon tanks, which took almost 120 gallons, at about 4 bucks a gallon... you do the math. I-60 was closed so we took the scenic route along the Ohio River in IL to KY. We happened to pass through Metropolis and there he was larger than life, SUPERMAN. I told you Superman lives in IL and I have pictures to prove it. And when hes not being a superhero, he delivers groceries. Well anyway, we saw a farmer burning off his fields to get ready for spring planting. Made it to TN and have stopped for the night. The story continues...
