After yesterday’s lull we’ve had 7 flytips to deal with today - TopicsExpress

After yesterday’s lull we’ve had 7 flytips to deal with today costing council taxpayers in Chorley around £900 for us to clean up! We started off with a small flytip on Marsh Lane, Brindle, costing £25 to clean up and flytipping by a wheelie bin, on Yates Street, Chorley, costing £50 to sort out. Then we had two separate flytips of carpets and slates, on Green Lane, Coppull, costing £175 to clear up in total. Later on we had three large flytips taking several hours of officer time to clean up and costing £650 for them to be cleared. They were at New Lane, Eccleston, two pics showing the extent of the mess, Ridley Lane, Croston, again two pics showing the rubbish and Coppull Hall Lane. If you recognise any of the items from the flytips and know where they might have come from or witnessed people dumping the rubbish please get in touch. The time and money the council has to spend on this could be put to better use.
