Aftercare Instructions GENERAL * Your Pre Bonded Hair Extensions are designed to be worn for 3-4 months. Your extensions should be removed by your stylist after this time period. * After your extensions have been applied do not wash your hair for 2-3 days to allow the bonds to set fully. * Tie your hair back in a loose ponytail or plait for bed. BRUSHING * Make sure the only brush you use on or near your bonds is an extension brush. This brush has soft bristles which ensure your bonds do not get snagged. * When brushing, ensure you hold the bonds to prevent pulling on the extension hair. WASHING * Your extension hair should only be washed between 2-3 times per week. * Before washing, detangle the hair with a wide tooth comb and separate each of the bonds. * It is essential that the only products you use for washing your hair are Hair extension Shampoo and Conditioner. * Smooth the Shampoo down the extension hair - do not rub. * Condition from the mid-lengths to the ends of the hair. Do not apply any conditioner to the bonded areas. * Wash your hair upright (a shower is ideal). Never wash your extensions over a bath or sink. * Pat hair gently to remove excess water. DRYING * When hair is damp, spray in hair extension Protein Spray. * Dry your extension bonds using a cool setting on your hairdryer. * Blow-dry your hair in sections. * For a sleek look, finish with hair straightners. Alternatively you can set the hair in rollers for a wavy effect. Tongs, crimpers and other heated tools can all be used on our extension hair. DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES * If using a sun bed, wrap your hair in a towel to protect both the hair and the bonds. * Wash your hair immediately after swimming to remove any chlorine.
