Aftermath Thoughts of Musicians Summit: it became what it became, and even though my role was a very small one, I would like to thank all those who made the attempt to attend. It was informative, fun, and inspiring. First, thanks to our Brother, Donny Tesso, for caring enough to pass on what he has learned, and then bringing Dink Cook (bassist for Toby Keith) to Yuma to share his knowledge. For my special thanks, as always Donny Tesso you came through, and I need to mention Paul Escalante who changed his underwear twice a day getting this event up and running, to Gina Flores for her work and input, to my Youngest Son, Travis Griffin for picking up Dinks amp in PHX, and to my Bride, Patti Griffin, well, she filled in a lot of holes to make this work, and she did it because she is married to a musician, and being that musician I know she can put fires under our asses to get things done. I love you Patti!!!! Last, my pleasure to spend a lot of time with Dink, who I knew from the moment I picked him up in PHX that he was one of us. Thanks Dink, and I hope all those frickin cords you bought in Gila Bend last a long time!! We will see you down the Road.....
